Here's how we're navigating our "in real life" services...
We're asking attendees to please register everyone in their cohort in one registration online. This greatly helps us with seating arrangements. (AHS is asking churches to retain records of attendees for our own purposes only, so that if needed, we can alert attendees if it is discovered another attendee tests positive for Covid-19.)
We're asking anyone with symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat) to please NOT attend the service.
We're asking anyone who has travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days, or has been in close contact of a person with COVID-19, to please not attend the service.
Those with a high-risk medical condition who choose to attend, please take necessary precautions.
Social spacing measures will be practised including maintaining 2m from others at all times, as well as no hugs or handshakes; smiles & waves are encouraged!
Our auditorium is set up with 2m space between seats & cohort groups.
To comply with government guidelines for places of worship, we ask that those intending to participate in the singing portion of the service to please wear a face mask.
We have hand sanitizer at several stations throughout the building.
We have masks available upon request.
There will be regular cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces and washrooms.
Doors will be propped open when possible to allow for easy hands-free entry and exit.
Navigational arrows are on the floor throughout the building to direct traffic.
We have a very large lobby which allows us to have separated entry and exit flows of traffic.
Mingling in the lobby before and after church will not take place at this time. Those who would like to mingle are encouraged to do so outside, with 2m spacing.
We have separate washrooms for adults located in the west wing only; washrooms in the back of the building are designated for children’s use only and closely monitored by our Kids Team workers.
West entrance main doors are for those in the auditorium/lobby only.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket to allow our wait-list to attend.
Services will still be available online if you are unable to attend.
And, if you have Kids:
Our teams are working to create a healthy & fun environment for the kids, a couple things will be different, here's what to expect.
Please reserve a ticket for each member of your family for the room where they attend. (We have limited space in children's classrooms available.)
Please enter the Children's Wing of the building from the front South or back North doors only. We ask that children in classes to not enter the West Wing of the building.
Before you arrive please check your child’s temperature.
Any children with symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat) are kindly asked to please NOT attend the service. Any child registering a fever will not be allowed to attend the kids classes or the adult service.
Please have the same parent do pickup/drop off.
Classrooms will be considered cohorts (according to the guidelines for Daycamps) & no snacks will be served.
All surface areas will be cleaned and disinfected. There will be no sharing of toys among children
Babies under age 2 will need to stay with their parents in the parents room where livestream viewing of the service is available.
Please remember that AHS protocols are still in place for our safety & health. While we are doing everything possible to provide a safe environment, it is understood that anyone attending a live service is doing so at their own risk.
